Why “OD3ON”
In Athens, the Odeon was the place where anyone could take the stage.
Musicians, poets, philosophers. No gatekeeper decided who deserved an audience: the audience did. We rebuilt that stage for the internet.
“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”— attributed to Voltaire, quoted in our manifestoRead the manifesto
Questions
Before you join
Is OD3ON free to use?
Yes. Creating an account, following channels and watching public posts is free. You only pay when you choose to subscribe to a creator or send a tip.
Why am I charged on the 3rd of the month?
All subscriptions renew together on the 3rd. If you support several creators, you’re charged once instead of several times, which cuts bank fees. If you subscribe on or after the 21st, your first renewal moves one month later: the first period is longer, not shorter.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
OD3ON is a web app you can install from your browser (Share → Add to Home Screen on iOS, Install on Android). App stores take 30% of payments; we take 5%.
I have a big YouTube channel. Can you move my videos?
Yes. Contact support and choose Creator program: we transfer your catalog automatically.
