Privacy Policy

Effective from July 16, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how OD3ON, LLC (“OD3ON,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use www.od3on.com, our apps, APIs, integrations, and related services (together, “OD3ON”). It should be read with our Terms of Use and Rules.

Freedom of expression only works in a climate of trust. That is why our starting point is simple: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing or profiling. We use it to run OD3ON, to pay creators, to bill supporters, to keep the platform safe, and to comply with the law.

Who we are

OD3ON is a platform where creators publish video, audio, images, and writing, and where fans can follow, subscribe, tip, and comment. OD3ON, LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company. Our mailing address is OD3ON, LLC, 2232 Dell Range Boulevard Suite 245, Cheyenne, WY 82009.

Information you provide

Depending on how you use OD3ON, you may give us:

- Account details: email address, password, username, display name, date of birth, country, gender, preferred language, preferred currency, and how you heard about us. Some of these fields are optional.

- Profile and channel details: avatar, cover image, bio, social links, website, channel name and tag, and similar public or semi-public information you choose to display.

- Content: publications, comments, messages you send through OD3ON, reports, tips, and any files you upload (video, audio, images, text).

- Billing identity: name, company name if any, postal address, and country, so we can issue invoices, apply VAT or sales tax, and meet tax rules. This is billing information, not a card number.

- Creator tax information: when the law requires it (for example a U.S. tax identification number for a 1099-K), we may collect the details needed to report earnings.

- Communications: messages you send us for support, reports, or feedback.

If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google, Apple, or Facebook), we receive the account information that provider shares with us, typically your name, email address, and a unique identifier. You can stop that sharing by disconnecting the provider or deleting your OD3ON account.

Information we collect automatically

When you use OD3ON, we collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser type, language, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and crash or performance logs. If you watch, like, follow, bookmark, or subscribe, we keep the records needed to show you your history, your subscriptions, and the content you are allowed to see.

We also use cookies and similar storage, as described below.

Payments, Stripe, not us

We do not store your bank card numbers, bank account numbers, or other payment-instrument secrets. Card details and other stored payment methods are collected and kept by Stripe, our payment processor, on Stripe’s systems, under Stripe’s terms and privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.

What we keep on our side is limited to what we need to run billing and show you your account: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan and amount, currency, VAT, payment status, and, where Stripe provides it, a descriptor of the method on file (for example card brand and last four digits). Creators’ payouts are also handled through Stripe. We never see, and we never save, the full card PAN, CVC, or bank login credentials.

If a payment fails, Stripe and we may retry according to our billing rules. Chargebacks, refunds, and fraud reviews may involve sharing the minimum transaction data needed with Stripe, card networks, and, when required, banks or authorities.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

- Create and secure your account, keep you signed in, and let you manage your profile, channels, and subscriptions.

- Provide the product: publish and deliver content according to the visibility you set (public, followers, or paying subscribers), process follows, likes, comments, tips, and reports.

- Bill supporters on the calendar-month schedule described on our subscriptions page, and pay creators their share after platform and processing fees.

- Calculate and remit taxes (including VAT) when we are required to.

- Keep OD3ON safe: detect spam, fraud, abuse, banned users, and violations of our Rules; investigate reports; and protect minors.

- Understand how the product is used and improve it (including audience and channel insights shown to a channel’s owner).

- Communicate with you about your account, payments, security, and important service changes. We do not sell lists of users to advertisers.

- Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and defend legal claims.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties so they can market to you. We do not build advertising profiles to sell to others. Creator pages may contain links or embeds to other sites; those sites have their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.

We share information only in these cases:

- Service providers who process data for us, under instructions, to host the platform, store media, send email, stop bots, analyze traffic, or process payments. Stripe and Google are examples. They are not free to use your data for their own unrelated products beyond what their own policies already describe for the tools we embed (see below).

- Other users, when you make it visible. Your username, display name, avatar, public channel, public posts, and public comments are meant to be seen. Paid or follower-only content is shown only to people who are allowed to see it. A creator can see that you follow or subscribe to their channel, and related activity needed to run that relationship (for example that a subscription is active). They do not receive your card details.

- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that we must do so to comply with law, a valid legal request, or to protect OD3ON, our users, or the public from fraud, harm, or abuse.

- Business transfers. If OD3ON is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, still bound by this policy or a successor policy that is at least as protective.

- With your direction. If you ask us to share something, or if a feature you use obviously sends data onward (for example posting a public link), we do that because you chose it.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to operate OD3ON, not to sell an advertising graph of your life. Typical examples:

- Essential: keeping you signed in (_user and related tokens), security, and load balancing.

- Preferences: language, theme (light/dark), sidebar state, and NSFW mode, so the site looks the way you left it.

- Analytics: Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to help us understand aggregate traffic. See Google’s policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can delete cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to stay logged in. Preference cookies are optional in the sense that the product still works without your saved theme or language, but we will not remember those choices.

Google reCAPTCHA and Analytics

Sign-up and some forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Google may collect hardware and software information, and that processing is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We use it to tell humans from bots, not to build a marketing profile.

We use Google Analytics (gtag) to see which pages are used and whether the product is healthy. We do not use it to sell your identity to advertisers. You can also use Google’s own ads and analytics controls, and browser tools that limit tracking.

How long we keep information

We keep account, billing, subscription, and tax records for as long as your account is open and for a reasonable period after, as needed to complete payouts, handle chargebacks, meet bookkeeping and tax retention rules, and resolve disputes. Content you delete may remain in backups for a short time. Reports, bans, and safety logs may be kept longer when we have a legitimate interest in protecting the community. Server logs are rotated in the ordinary course of operations.

Payment-instrument data lives at Stripe for as long as the method remains on file or Stripe is required to retain it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information (access controls, encrypted connections in transit, hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and devices under your control. Tell us immediately if you think your account has been compromised.

Your choices

You can update most account and billing identity fields from your account settings. You can cancel subscriptions, remove a payment method on file (which instructs Stripe to detach it), and, where the product allows it, delete content you posted. You can permanently delete your account from your account management page. Deletion does not unwind public copies someone else already made, legal archives we must keep, or a creator’s legitimate record that a past subscription existed for accounting.

You can opt out of non-essential cookies via your browser. Transactional email about payments, security, and the service itself is not a newsletter you can fully opt out of while you still have an account, we need it to run billing and keep you safe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, a copy in a portable format, or restriction of certain processing. You may also object to processing that is based on legitimate interests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, OD3ON processes personal data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations (tax, accounting, safety), and on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving a creator platform, balanced against your rights. Where consent is required (for example certain cookies or optional fields), you can withdraw it without affecting prior processing.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify that you are the account holder. If we refuse a request that the law still allows us to refuse (for example we must keep an invoice), we will say so. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising. You may request to know, delete, or correct personal information as described above.

Children

OD3ON is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must meet the minimum age in your country to consent to processing of your data. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or legal guardian’s permission, to create a creator page or to buy subscriptions or offers. You must be at least 18 to subscribe to adult/18+ creators. If we learn that we have collected information from a child in violation of these rules, we will delete the account.

International transfers

OD3ON is operated from the United States. If you use OD3ON from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and in any other country where our processors (including Stripe and Google) maintain infrastructure. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from yours. We use these transfers to provide the service you asked for.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you before they take effect, for example by posting the new date on this page or by emailing the address on your account. Using OD3ON after a change means you accept the updated policy.
