Subscriptions are monthly in the calendar sense. They all renew together on the 3rd of each month. You pay today, you get access to reserved content immediately, and the next charge happens on that shared date.

Why this rhythm?
Every card payment has a cost. A percentage fee, and above all a fixed fee on every transaction. If each fan were billed on the anniversary of their own subscription, the bank would charge as many times as there are subscriptions, including when the same supporter backs several creators.

Without a safeguard, a fan who subscribes on the 21st, or later, would be charged again as soon as the 3rd of the following month. A few days of access for a full month's price is not support, it is an accidental trap. We refuse that.

You subscribe now. The next renewal is pushed to the 3rd of the month after next. The first period is longer, not shorter.
The fan is not short-changed: they enjoy a generous first period. The creator gains a subscriber who does not feel tricked. Trust is earned in the calendar too.
