Account & sign-in
I pay for a subscription, but I cannot see the creator's content. Why?
Check that you did not open a second account by mistake. We mean it: this is, by far, the most common support ticket. Someone creates an account, subscribes, then on another device creates a new one with a different email instead of signing in. The subscriptions are on the first account.
If you are sure you only have one account, contact support. If we do find a second one, you owe us a drink. 😉
Do I need a second account to open another channel?
No. One account can open several channels: use “Create a Channel” in the left menu, no second email needed. With the profile switch, you can comment as yourself or as one of your channels.
I forgot my password
When signing in, click “Forgot your password?”, enter the email address of your account and follow the link we send you. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t show up within a few minutes.
What do I need to sign up?
A username (3 to 32 characters: letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores, with at least one letter), a display name, an email address, a password (at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number), your date of birth (you must be at least 13 years old), your gender, your country and how you heard about OD3ON. Your preferred language and currency are preselected.
Can I change my username or display name?
Yes, in My Account. Your display name can change anytime. If you change your username, it cannot be changed again for 30 days. Your username is not your channel address: each channel has its own tag, used in its address (/@tag).
Subscriptions & billing
I started a monthly subscription on the 15th. Why am I charged on the 3rd of the month?
Subscriptions on OD3ON follow the calendar month and renew on a fixed date. That schedule groups charges together and lowers the bank fees of the creator you support. You can cancel at any time. If you cancel during the first period, access still lasts 30 days. The details are on the Monthly subscription page.
I subscribed late in the month. When is my next payment?
Before the 21st, the next renewal is on the 3rd of the following month. From the 21st onward, it is pushed to the 3rd of the month after next: the first period is longer, not shorter.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, in My Account → My Subscriptions (“Cancel Subscription”). Access continues until the end of the period already paid; if you cancel during your first period, it still lasts 30 days. All the rules.
What are tiers?
A creator can offer up to 10 subscription tiers, each described in their own words, at the monthly price they choose. Some posts are reserved for subscribers or for specific tiers, and chat rooms are open to the tiers the creator chooses. You subscribe from the channel’s Subscriptions tab.
How much can I tip?
Tips start at 5 (in your currency) and use fixed amounts: 5, 10, 15, 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 350 or 500. There is no custom amount. OD3ON takes 5% of a tip, and the payment fee applies to the payment.
For creators
How much does OD3ON take?
5% on subscriptions and tips, plus the payment fees, charged per payment. Since every subscription renews on the 3rd, one payment covers all the channels a fan supports in the same currency, so the fixed fee is paid once instead of once per channel. For comparison, Patreon takes 10%, plus its own payment fees.
I have a large YouTube channel and I want to move my videos to OD3ON. How do I do that?
Write to support and choose Creator program. We will help you transfer them automatically.
Who sees my posts?
You decide for each post: public, followers (free), all subscribers, or only some tiers. You can also group posts into series and schedule them in advance.
Can I go live and open chat rooms right away?
Lives and chat rooms are available to creators who have paying subscribers. You can then open up to 10 chat rooms per channel, each restricted to the tiers you choose.
How do I set my subscription tiers?
On your channel, open the Subscriptions tab and click “New Subscription”: a title, an optional cover photo, the monthly price and its currency (USD, EUR, GBP or CHF), and a free-text description (up to 800 characters). Up to 10 tiers per channel. When you publish, you choose who can see each post.
Payouts
When do I get paid?
The earnings of a month become withdrawable from the 10th of the following month. All subscriptions renew on the 3rd, which pools bank fees for your fans and for you.
Where do I see what I earn?
In your channel’s Insights (the Revenue, Tips and Payouts tabs): every amount you generate, the 5% commission and the bank fees, each on its own line.
Does OD3ON handle my taxes?
No. OD3ON is not a tax intermediary. Your dashboard gives you every amount, commission and bank fee line by line, so declaring your income is simple.
Playback & app
Are you planning an iOS or Android app?
Not for the moment. The app stores take a 30% cut on payments. Ours is 5%. Creators already cover bank fees and that commission. Adding 30% would leave them very little, and charging fans the difference would be too much.
The platform is a web app, so you can install it on your phone.
On iOS, open the browser menu, then Share, then Add to Home Screen.
On Android, open the browser menu and tap Install.
The video has sound, but no picture. What should I do?
This is often hardware acceleration. Turn it on in your browser settings, restart the browser, and playback should work again.
Can I pick up a video where I stopped?
Yes. The player resumes videos and audio where you left off, in the same browser. Positions are kept for 90 days.
How do I get notified of new posts?
In-app notifications (the bell at the top) are always on. Emails are sent for new publications, lives and chat rooms opening, to people with a verified email: choose them in My Account → Notifications.

Rules & moderation
The 15 OD3ON rules have their own page, in full and in their original wording. They apply to both public and private content. Creators can also delete comments and ban users on their own channel, and anyone can report a post.
